Wood Kiln Build
This week we're putting together our metal support structure for the wood kiln.
We'll be cutting metal, drilling holes in the steel, lifting heavy pieces of metal into place and welding pieces together.
These metal elements are essential—they help the kiln maintain its shape through repeated firings as the bricks heat and expand, and they provide crucial stability for the kiln arch (roof).

Jan 22nd Thur 11am - 4pm (Cutting and lifting metal pieces into place. We'll need multiple people to help with holding items and inserting rods as we put the metal frame together.)
Jan 23rd Fri 11am - 4pm (Mostly welding and tightening up all the connections from the previous day)
