Intro & Intermediate Wheel - Morning!

Our New Home!!!
We are happy to announce our move to a new location!!! This session (Session 6) Marks the beginning of a new chapter for us!
This move comes with many changes and updates. Prices for all classes will increase to combat the rising rent price and costs of goods. This new building will provide a much more comfortable experience for our students and renters. Those who have been with us for a while know our battle with the kilns and our HVAC. This issue is now a thing of the past! The kilns will now have their own room and we regret to inform you that we will no longer offer a free sauna with our classes! 😁
We look forward to growing in this new space and offering more pottery adventures.

Intro and Intermediate Wheel throwing
All levels of clay experience are welcome!
Have you ever wanted to try making pottery? Has it been a while since you’ve thrown on the wheel and you want to refresh your throwing skills? This class is for you!
6 wheel throwing classes!
Students will meet for 2.5 hrs, 6:30pm- 9pm, once a week for six weeks. You will be able to progress at your own speed and instruction will be catered to your particular skill level. Students will also have 2 weeks after the class ends to finish all work.
The class must have 6 people to run.
This class series will take you through the various stages of wheel throwing such as, wedging, centering and the actual shaping of a piece, trimming and glazing. The first 2 classes will be heavy in throwing instruction. Around the third or fourth class most students feel comfortable exploring the wheel with little instruction. The last 2 classes will focus on decoration and glazing. 25lbs of clay will be provided.
Be sure to wear old clothes or bring a apron and towel. Basic beginner pottery tools can be purchased here for $15. If you have any questions about the class, please email Delores at delorespotterystudios@gmail.com
Students must be 18 years or older. Some exceptions can be made. Contact Delores with requests before registering your child.
We do not offer personal make up days since all of our classes are full.Typically instructors repeat lessons so if you miss one week you'll have the demo next time. We also offer open studio, access to the studio on the weekends and some weekday options for students to come in and practice.
