Intro and Intermediate Wheel throwing

All Skill Levels Welcome – No Experience Needed!

Curious about pottery? Whether you're brand new to the wheel or looking to brush up on your throwing skills after some time away, this class is designed for you!

In this six-week wheel throwing series, you'll learn every step of the process—from wedging and centering the clay to shaping, trimming, and glazing your pieces. The first two classes focus on hands-on instruction to build your foundational throwing skills. By weeks three and four, most students begin to feel confident exploring techniques more independently. In the final sessions, we'll shift our focus to decorating and glazing your creations.

Each student receives 25 lbs. of clay to use throughout the course.

Students will meet for 2.5 hrs, 6:30pm- 9pm, once a week for six weeks. You will be able to progress at your own speed and instruction will be catered to your particular skill level.

The class must have 6 people to run.

Students must be 18 years or older. Some exceptions can be made. Contact Delores with requests before registering your child.

We do not offer personal make up days since all of our classes are full.Typically instructors repeat lessons so if you miss one week you'll have the demo next time. We also offer open studio, access to the studio on the weekends and some weekday options for students to come in and practice.
