Private Pottery Workshop: Hand-Building, Wheel Throwing or Paint & Blaze

Perfect for Birthday parties, Team Building / corporate events, Friends day out!

Join us for a fun and creative 2-hour pottery workshop where you’ll learn the basics of hand-building or wheel throwing to craft your own beautiful pieces or Paint a beautiful premade piece.

Your group can choose between wheel throwing, hand-building, or our paint and blaze option. For groups of 11 plus, we can split into two or 3 studios
(Please note: wheel throwing is limited to a maximum of 10 participants in each studio. We have 3 studios for wheel)

We’ll have everything prepped for you—clay ready on the wheels and rolled slabs for hand-building and hundreds of pieces for you to choose from for our paint and blaze.

If you’d like to make something extra special—such as a wall hanging or decorative piece for spring flowers—our wide selection of patterns and tools will inspire your design.

This is a single-session workshop, and you’ll have two finishing options for wheel or hand building:

• Add colored slip during class (we’ll apply a clear glaze after firing), or
• Choose from 2–3 glaze colors for your final piece.

Each participant will create 1–2 unique pieces, perfect for your home or as heartfelt gifts.

For the Paint and blaze you'll have many beautiful colors to choose from to paint your piece.

What to bring:

• Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy!
• Feel free to bring your own snacks and beverages.

Pick-up:
Your finished pieces will be ready in 2–3 weeks. We’ll send an email with pickup instructions once they’re fired and glazed.

Come play with clay, learn something new, and leave with art you’ll love!

Standard private workshop price is $75 per person for hand-building and $85 for wheel and $45 for paint and Blaze. We understand companies and groups have budgets.

'Wine' cups can be purchased at a discount in advance during registration or day of in person at full price.

While this is meant to be an exciting workshop, intoxicated guests will not be able to participate or remain on the premises. Please drink responsibly and be prepared to hail a Taxi/Lyft/Uber in the event that you are not capable of driving safely.

Disclaimer:

We aim to create decorative and functional wares that you may bring home and use. Despite our best efforts sometimes not all the pottery pieces make it through both kiln firings. This is rare but in the case a piece does not come out in tact please remember this is part of the pottery process and this does not mean guests are entitled to a makeup class or to a refund.
